La Lluna is an authentic Spanish restaurant chain located in North London providing the city’s best loved Spanish tapas made from locally sourced and organic ingredients, signature cocktails and live entertainment from flamenco dancing to live violinists and guitarists.


 La Lluna is the ultimate dining destination for a range of customers of all ages and the restaurant often caters for large parties and hosts specialist events for its guests such as wine tastings and flamenco evenings.

The Brief.

La Lluna was looking for a PR and Marketing partner who could help increase brand awareness of its two restaurants with the aim to reach new customers across North London and increase bookings for both the Whetstone and Muswell Hill restaurant.

What did Orange do?

Orange managed the social media channels for La Lluna, focusing on creating compelling content that highlighted the restaurant’s food and drink offering and exciting calendar of events.


As part of this, Orange created engaging content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook – tailoring the content for each platform, and the target audience that could be reached via each channel.


In addition to social media management, Orange also created an influencer outreach strategy for both restaurants with a particular focus on Whetstone. This activity included collaborating with influencers who have a strong local following to create content for their own channels that highlights La Lluna’s unique Spanish tapas offering.


Orange provides a full media centre function for La Lluna delivering a range of activity including creating press releases about events and news of the restaurants, positioning key team members for interviews and expert comments, and ensuring La Lluna is front of mind for journalists working on relevant foodie features.

The Juicy Results.

Within the first two months of working together, Orange’s PR and Marketing activity resulted in a significant increase in bookings across both the Whetstone and Muswell Hill restaurants.


La Lluna Whetstone bookings increased by 55% and Muswell Hill bookings by 42% when compared to the same period one year earlier.


The social media management provided by Orange helped La Lluna to achieve a 446% engagement rate increase across Instagram.


On TikTok, a key channel for La Lluna’s target audience, Orange’s management resulted in an increase in followers of 150% and an impressive video views increase of 7,274% and profile videos of 2,420%.
