ORANGE APPOINTED AS PR AGENCY FOR CHALLENGER SNACK BRAND DATEKIN

Orange PR & Marketing has been appointed as the PR agency for Datekin, the British date snacking brand on a mission to make snacking more natural and a lot less processed.

We're excited to be working with the Datekin team to take the brand from a strong set of retail listings to genuine consumer recognition. It's a brief that sits right at the heart of what we do as a specialist food and drink PR agency and, as it happens, in one of the most talked-about corners of the food industry right now.

A Brand With A Story Worth Telling

Datekin launched in spring 2025 on a simple premise: that snacking can be better without being boring.

The core range is single-ingredient Sukkari dates, handpicked from the brand's own farms in Saudi Arabia, sold in 30g and 60g packs that are dry to the touch and mess-free. Alongside them sit a Date Balls range made with just two to three ingredients, and a more indulgent Date Cakes range - the one you hand to someone who's convinced they don't like dates.

That last range has just picked up the brand's first Great Taste accolade, with judges praising its "clean and fruity flavour" and "wonderfully tender texture".

Consumer PR

Datekin already has the distribution. Our job is to make sure shoppers know the brand is there, and to keep it visible between retail moments rather than only during them.

That means a consistent drumbeat of consumer coverage across food, health and lifestyle media, month after month, instead of a single burst that fades by the following week. At Orange, we're on a mission to bring back Proper PR, so we don't do press releases for the sake of press releases.

Talking To The Trade

Datekin's growth story is one buyers should be hearing, and the trade press plans months ahead. We're making sure the brand is consistently in the features buyers actually read.

There's a genuinely distinctive story to tell them, too. With its own farms and generations of family heritage in date farming, Datekin offers a secure, direct supply chain and UK-held stock at a time when the UK's date supply is under real pressure. Few brands in the category can say the same.

Landing In The Right Conversations

Snacking is having a moment. Fibre, the shift away from ultra-processed food, natural energy and the wider better-for-you conversation are all live in the national press right now, and Datekin has a credible voice in every one of them.

We'll be putting the brand into those conversations quickly when they come up, and working alongside the brand's own social activity to get product into the hands of the right people.

Bringing Back Proper PR For Better-For-You Brands

Datekin is a brilliant example of why we do what we do: a challenger brand with a genuinely differentiated product, a real supply-chain story and a category conversation moving in its direction.

Our job is to find fresh, relevant and culturally resonant ways to tell that story, and to be honest about whether an angle will land rather than chasing coverage for its own sake. That's what bringing back proper PR is all about.

Looking Ahead

There's a busy run ahead - new retail moments, seasonal snacking and a new year that plays straight into Datekin's strengths. We'll be sharing more as it happens.

August was a month of growth at Orange. We welcomed three brilliant new food and drink brands to the agency and delivered another strong month of national coverage for clients across food, drink, homes and interiors. As a PR agency based in Colchester, Essex, we continued to support brands across the UK with consumer PR, trade PR, digital PR, influencer marketing and social media management. As a specialist food and drink PR agency, August saw our client portfolio grow again in exactly the sectors we know best. Here's a look at some of our highlights. Welcoming Denhay We were delighted to be appointed by Denhay , the family bacon business in Devon founded in 1952 and a Royal Warrant holder. Denhay is a brand with genuine provenance - decades of heritage, a loyal following and a real story to tell - which makes it exactly the kind of work we love. We spent August building the PR strategy and laying the groundwork for an exciting autumn of announcements. There's plenty to come, and we're looking forward to sharing more as it goes live. Welcoming Datekin August also saw us come on board with Datekin , the British date snacking brand on a mission to make snacking healthier: natural, less processed and high in fibre. Datekin's core range is single-ingredient Sukkari dates, handpicked and pitted from the founder's own farms, sitting alongside a date balls range and a more indulgent date cake range - the entry point for people who think they don't like dates. It was a fast start, with two announcements landing in the brand's first month. We announced Datekin's Great Taste 2026 win for its Date Filled Whole Wheat & Bran Cakes and followed it with the brand's new WH Smith travel retail listing, both of which were picked up across key trade titles. Datekin also featured in back-to-school media features towards the end of the month. A busy month was a good sign of things to come. Welcoming Sunny & Luna We were also thrilled to begin work with Sunny & Luna , the modern Italian food brand founded by Giulia Berretti. Sunny & Luna started with gnocchi and is now stocked in more than 400 UK retail locations. It's a genuine challenger brand story, built by a founder who is incredibly passionate about the brand’s offering. August was about getting the foundations right: shaping the strategy, building the media plan and preparing the ground ahead of a significant autumn for the brand. A Christmas Crisp Comeback for Fairfields Farm For Fairfields Farm , August's headline moment was the return of the brand's Honey Roasted Chestnut & Sage crisps for Christmas 2026. We took the news to the media and secured a genuinely broad spread of coverage, from national consumer pick-up in The Sun and The Scottish Sun through to the full sweep of grocery and convenience trade: Convenience Store, Talking Retail, Asian Trader, Grocery Trader, Wholesale Manager, Scottish Grocer, Grocery Gazette, Retail Times, Better Retailing and Trend Hunter. The brand also featured twice in Speciality Food, including its feature on 2026 trends in crunchy savoury snacks and nuts, and in Forecourt Trader's Big Night In feature. The Telegraph (Twice) for Oltco For resin driveway specialist Oltco , August brought a standout national result. We secured commentary from Johnny Pearce in The Telegraph's feature 'Outdoor baths: the middle-class status symbol', drawing on Oltco's work at spa-led destinations including The Headland Hotel, Carbis Bay Hotel and Champneys. The piece ran online at the start of the month and again in the Saturday print edition later in August. Johnny also featured in Ideal Home's guide to adding a plunge pool to a small garden. Two national titles, one expert spokesperson and a specialist brand talking with real authority about its own field - that's what good consumer PR looks like for a business like Oltco. A Content Day for Tiptree Patisserie For Tiptree Patisserie , August's highlight was a full day of content filming, visiting Tiptree Patisserie and a number of other locations to build a strong bank of platform-first content for the brand's Instagram and TikTok channels. Days like this are one of our favourite parts of the job, and they give a brand a bank of content that keeps working for months. Exciting groundwork for September September is a big month, with new client campaigns going live, product launches to support and plenty of announcements we can't wait to share. As brands move into the autumn and festive trading period, our focus is on making sure they're seen by the right audiences at the right time. As always, that means bringing back proper PR through thoughtful storytelling, strong media relationships and creative campaigns that help brands stand out for the right reasons. If you're a food and drink, homes, interiors or lifestyle brand looking for support with PR, social media management or influencer marketing, get in touch with the Orange PR team to discuss how we can help.

Following a run of exciting new client wins, Orange has been appointed as the PR agency for Sunny & Luna , the modern Italian food brand founded by Giulia Berretti. As a specialist food and drink PR agency, we work with brands right across the category, from heritage names with generations of history behind them to challenger brands building something new like Sunny & Luna. A Modern Italian Food Brand With A Real Story Sunny & Luna started with gnocchi. Its first two SKUs landed in Whole Foods in 2023, and today the brand is stocked in more than 400 UK retail locations including Sainsbury's, Whole Foods, Planet Organic and Ocado. What makes it stand out isn't just the growth, though. It's the proposition. Sunny & Luna makes fresh Italian food the way it should be made, without the shortcuts and without the compromise, and it does it for people who care about what's actually in the packet. It's Italian food with genuine integrity behind it, brought to a UK audience that has never been more interested in eating well. That combination - a great product, a clear point of view and a founder with a brilliant story - is exactly what makes a brand a joy to work with. Built For Challenger Brands Challenger brands need something different from a PR agency. They're often creating a conversation rather than joining one. And more often than not, the founder is the story. It's the space we know best. We've worked with challenger brands including PerfectTed, Datekin and Flawsome!, and the pattern is consistent: the brands that break through are the ones that stop only talking about their product features and start telling a story people actually want to pass on. For a brand like Sunny & Luna, that means going well beyond the trade announcement. It means building a profile for the brand and its founder in national, business and lifestyle media, showing up in the cultural conversation about how the UK eats Italian food, and making sure that when shoppers see the brand on shelf, they already know who it is. Putting Giulia's Story In Front Of A Bigger Audience A big part of our remit is founder profiling for Giulia. She's built Sunny & Luna from nothing into a brand in more than 400 UK stores, without a food industry background and without a blueprint to follow, and she's done it while raising a family. It's a story with real substance to it, and one that will resonate well beyond the food pages: with the business media, with the women's lifestyle titles and with anyone who has ever wondered whether an idea is worth backing themselves on. Our job is to make sure it reaches those audiences properly, in the titles that matter, told in Giulia's own voice. Founder-led storytelling is one of the most powerful tools available to a challenger brand, and it's something we do a lot of. Done well, it builds the kind of credibility and warmth that no amount of advertising can buy. An Exciting Autumn Ahead The timing of the appointment is no accident. Sunny & Luna has a significant autumn ahead, with big news coming and we're already deep into planning the activity around it. We're keeping the details under wraps for now, but it's shaping up to be a big few months for the brand, and we can't wait to start sharing it. Bringing Back Proper PR For Challenger Brands At Orange, our mission is to bring back proper PR: thoughtful storytelling, strong media relationships and creative campaigns that earn attention rather than buying it. From consumer PR and national media relations to founder profiling, trade media and digital PR that supports search visibility, our focus is always the same - building awareness that lasts and translates into real commercial momentum. We're delighted to be working with Giulia and the Sunny & Luna team, and we're looking forward to sharing what's coming. If you're a food and drink brand looking for support with PR, social media management or influencer marketing, get in touch with the Orange PR team to discuss how we can help.

July was a month of new beginnings and big moments. We welcomed two brilliant new clients to Orange, delivered a first-of-its-kind charity event that made it onto prime-time regional television, and kept the coverage coming across food and drink, interiors and lifestyle media. As a PR agency based in Colchester, Essex, we continued to support brands across the UK with consumer PR, trade PR, digital PR, influencer marketing and social media management. As a specialist food and drink PR agency, it was another month that reflected the continued growth of the agency within the food, drink, homes and lifestyle sectors. Here's a look at some of our highlights from July. Appointed as PR Agency for Flawsome! Drinks We were thrilled to be appointed as the PR agency for Flawsome! Drinks , the sustainable, non-alcoholic drinks brand on a mission to fight food waste, one delicious sip at a time. Flawsome! is a brand built on a genuinely brilliant idea: taking wonky, surplus and imperfect fruit that would otherwise go to waste and turning it into juices and lightly sparkling drinks that people actually want to drink. It's the kind of purpose-led business we love working with - a real story, a real reason to exist and a product that stands up on taste alone. As part of the partnership, Orange will lead media relations for an exciting summer campaign, helping to raise the profile of the brand with national media and put Flawsome! front of mind as consumers look for refreshing, feel-good drinks. From consumer PR and national media relations to digital PR that supports search visibility, our focus is on building awareness that lasts and we can't wait to share more. Appointed as PR and Marketing Agency for Tiptree Patisserie Following a string of exciting new client wins, July also saw us appointed as the PR and marketing agency for Tiptree Patisserie , the artisan bakery and patisserie based in Witham, Essex, and proudly part of the Wilkin & Sons family. As part of the partnership, Orange will support Tiptree Patisserie across trade and national media outreach, social media strategy and content creation, helping to raise the profile of its handmade cakes, traybakes, muffins, scones and patisserie among hospitality buyers and consumers alike. The appointment comes at an exciting time for the brand, which has just launched a brand-new trade website designed for its foodservice customers. Alongside our media and social activity, we'll be helping to build awareness of the new platform and drive it in front of the trade audiences it's designed for. Tiptree Patisserie is right on our doorstep, which means we can be on hand for content creation days and bring a real understanding of the region, its heritage and its audiences. In July we delivered a new social media strategy for the brand, began forward features research to secure long-lead trade coverage, and started planning a content creation day across some of the beautiful Essex venues that serve Tiptree Patisserie products. Mission:Mud: Prime-Time ITV Coverage and £10,000 Raised On Sunday 12 July, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance held its first-ever Mission:Mud challenge at Nuclear Wild Forest in Kelvedon Hatch, bringing hundreds of families, schools and teams together to take on a muddy obstacle course in aid of the life-saving charity. The event raised an incredible £10,000. Our job was to make sure as many people as possible saw it and July delivered on that in a big way. The headline result was television. Following our liaison with the ITV Anglia newsdesk, we arranged for a crew to come and film at the event on the day, and coordinated interviews with the charity team and participants taking on the course. The story ran on ITV News Anglia that evening - prime-time coverage for a first-year event, and a fantastic result for the charity's profile across the region. Radio played a big part too, with broadcast interviews secured on BBC Essex ahead of the event and further coverage on BBC Three Counties Radio, taking the story to listeners right across Essex and Hertfordshire. To bring the day to life for a family audience, we also delivered an influencer campaign, working with three well-known local content creators - Crystal Wright (@itscrystalwright), Jenny Padfield (@reallynosuchthingasbadweather) and Molly Pendley (@oureverydaychaos) - who took part on the day and produced content across Instagram before, during and after the event. Between them they delivered feed posts, Reels and a run of Stories, introducing Mission:Mud to exactly the family audiences the charity wanted to reach. Pairing earned media with influencer marketing in this way is something we do a lot of, and Mission:Mud was a brilliant example of why: broadcast and press built credibility and reach, while the creator content built genuine, relatable interest in taking part. Appointed to Manage Social Media and Influencer Marketing for Milgro July also saw us appointed to manage the social media and influencer marketing for Milgro , the Northern Ireland-based onion grower behind a growing range of quality onion products, including its popular Crispy Onions. The appointment comes as Milgro lands a new UK retail listing with Tesco for its Crispy Onion range, so our focus is on building awareness with UK shoppers at exactly the right moment. We'll be delivering a clear social media strategy and a rolling monthly content calendar across Instagram and TikTok, alongside creator partnerships and user-generated content to get the product in front of new audiences and show people just how many ways there are to use it. Continued Momentum Across the Portfolio Beyond the headline moments, July was another busy month of earned coverage across our food and drink, interiors and lifestyle clients. For Fairfields Farm , we secured trade and regional coverage for the brand's fundraising milestone with Air Ambulances UK, including Retail Times, the Essex County Standard and the Gazette, alongside trade commentary Wholesale Manager's July crisps, snacks and nuts feature and its plant-based food feature. The brand also featured in a Great British Food Awards recipe piece, with its Prawn Cocktail flavour earning a place in a British "picky tea" feature. For resin driveway specialist Oltco , we secured coverage in Franchise World and placed expert commentary from Johnny in Livingetc's feature on garden permeability, complete with a link back to the Oltco website. We also secured a comment for the brand in an upcoming Telegraph feature on outdoor baths a great example of how reactive commentary can land national titles for a specialist brand. For Roomes Furniture & Interiors , we delivered another content creation day and continued to grow the brand's social presence, extending its content into TikTok alongside Instagram as part of our ongoing social media management. Into August… With three new client wins and campaigns building across the portfolio, August and the rest of the summer are shaping up nicely. We're looking forward to launching new campaigns, supporting clients through key seasonal trading periods and getting out on more content creation days across Essex and beyond. As always, our focus remains on bringing back proper PR through thoughtful storytelling, strong media relationships and creative campaigns that help brands stand out for the right reasons. If you're a food and drink, homes, interiors or lifestyle brand looking for support with PR, social media management or influencer marketing, get in touch with the Orange PR team to discuss how we can help.

Christmas doesn't wait - and neither do the journalists already building this year's gift guides. That's why we're thrilled to relaunch the Orange PR Christmas Package for 2026: a fixed-fee festive campaign designed to get your brand seen, talked about and, most importantly, bought throughout the busiest shopping season of the year. For £2,000 +VAT, our team goes to work getting your products and your story in front of the right journalists, day in, day out, from now right up until the big day. What's included The festive season is when the consumer press is at its most competitive, and its most valuable. Our Christmas Package is built around one thing: coverage. We combine proactive pitching - actively putting your products forward for gift guides, seasonal round-ups and festive features - with reactive pitching, jumping on the timely opportunities and journalist requests as they land. It's the same blend of agility and strong media relationships that we bring to our year-round campaigns, focused entirely on landing your brand in front of shoppers when they're primed to spend. Whether you're a food and drink brand fighting for space on a gifting page, a beauty label chasing a spot in the glossies, or a founder with a story worth telling, we know how to cut through a crowded editorial calendar and get you noticed. Why the early birds win Christmas features are already being planned and written. Many of the biggest opportunities sit with long-lead titles including the glossy magazines and weekend supplements that work months in advance and their festive gift guides are being pulled together right now, in the late summer. The earlier we start pitching, the more of those doors are still open. Leave it too late and the standout slots are already spoken for. The package runs right up until Christmas, so there's a full season of shorter-lead and reactive opportunities to make the most of too. But the brands that move first are the ones that land the best placements, so the sooner we start, the better your results. Previous success stories Don't just take our word for it. Here's what this kind of proactive and reactive pitching has already delivered for some of the brands we worked with for Christmas in 2025. A food and drink brand needed to stand out fast in the fiercely competitive seasonal gifting market - exactly the challenge every brand faces in the run-up to Christmas. Within the first week of working together, we spotted a timely editorial opportunity and secured their founder an interview with The Guardian, pitched, interviewed and published in under 48 hours. Alongside that founder profiling, we landed product placement across leading gifting and consumer titles including Stylist, The Sun, Bella and the Daily Star, reaching over 5 million people in the first three months. A perfect example of what our Christmas Package can do for a seasonal gifting brand. A haircare brand shows how we turn products into must-have gifting picks. Launching four world-first products to both trade and consumer audiences, we translated technical innovation into clear, benefit-led storytelling and secured coverage across influential industry titles such as Professional Hairdresser and Beauty & Hairdressing, plus multiple pieces in the Daily Mail positioning the founder as an expert voice along the way. In total, the campaign reached over 800,000 people, the sort of consumer visibility that puts a brand firmly on shoppers' festive wish lists. An inclusive beauty brand is proof of the premium gift-guide coverage we can land. Our digital PR strategy delivered 51 pieces of coverage, 124 brand mentions and a reach of 5.9 million people — including a spot in British Vogue's Best Beauty Products, a BBC News founder profile, and features in Prima, Marie Claire, The Independent, Woman's Own and Cosmopolitan. That's exactly the kind of glossy, high-authority placement our festive campaign is built to secure. That's the sort of visibility, credibility and momentum we love to create and Christmas is one of the best moments of the year to create it. Ready to make this your best Christmas yet? The Orange Christmas PR Package is £2,000 +VAT, and there's no better time to get started than now, while the long-lead gift guides are still taking submissions. Spaces are limited, and the earlier we begin, the more we can achieve for your brand. Get in touch with the Orange team today and let's get your brand wrapped up in all the right coverage this Christmas.

Orange PR & Marketing has been appointed to manage the social media and influencer marketing for Milgro , the Northern Ireland-based onion grower behind a growing range of quality onion products, including its popular Crispy Onions. Onions might not be the first thing that springs to mind when you picture a scroll-stopping social feed, and that's exactly why we said yes. Some of the most rewarding social media marketing comes from taking a brilliant, honest product and finding fresh ways to make people stop, look and crave it. That's the opportunity with Milgro, and as an agency that loves working with food brands and farm brands alike, it's one we're relishing. From Field to Fork Milgro has something a lot of food and drink brands would love to have: a real story, start to finish. Seed, soil, harvest, kitchen. There's craft and provenance in every stage, and for a farm brand, that's rich territory for social media content, from harvest footage and behind-the-scenes moments to recipes that show just how versatile a good onion really is. Our first job is turning all of that into a clear social media strategy and a rolling monthly content calendar, built around the moments, formats and trends that will land with Milgro's audiences on Instagram and TikTok. More personality with content creation that feels current, appetising and unmistakably Milgro. It's the kind of provenance-rich storytelling that farm and food brands are perfectly placed to own. A Timely Boost: The New Retail Listing The timing couldn't be better, either. Milgro has just landed a new UK retail listing for its Crispy Onion range, so a big part of our focus is putting that moment to work, using social content and creator partnerships to build buzz, drive discovery and get the range in front of shoppers who'll love it. Getting the Right Creators on Board Rather than chasing follower counts, our influencer marketing matches our clients with creators whose audiences genuinely fit the brand, from family-focused accounts to food-led creators who know how to make a product look irresistible. Just as importantly, those partnerships generate a steady stream of authentic user-generated content (UGC) that we can amplify across Milgro's own channels, so every collaboration works twice as hard. Paired with strong organic content, influencer marketing and UGC are a fast, credible way to introduce the products to new audiences and earn a place in people's baskets, and their recipes. Why We're Excited Milgro is our dream kind of client: quality-led, full of character and ready to grow. As a social media and influencer marketing agency that specialises in food brands and farm brands right across the UK, we get a real kick out of taking a genuinely good product and giving it the social presence and creator support to match. We'll be sharing plenty from the work as it develops. In the meantime, if you're a food, drink or farm brand wondering how social media marketing, UGC and influencer marketing could grow your brand, we'd love to hear from you.

Orange PR & Marketing has been appointed as the PR agency for Flawsome! Drinks , the sustainable, non-alcoholic drinks brand on a mission to fight food waste, one delicious sip at a time. As part of the partnership, Orange will lead media relations for an exciting summer campaign, helping to raise the profile of the brand with national media and put Flawsome! front of mind as consumers look for refreshing, feel-good drinks this summer. It's a brief that sits right at the heart of what we do as a specialist food and drink PR agency, and one we've been looking forward to getting started on. As a Colchester, Essex-based drinks PR agency working with brands across the UK, it's exactly the kind of consumer PR campaign we love to lead. A Brand With a Story Worth Telling Flawsome! is a brand built on a brilliant idea: taking "wonky" and surplus fruit that might otherwise go to waste and turning it into delicious cold-pressed juices and sparkling juice drinks. It's a proposition that pairs genuine sustainability credentials with fantastic-tasting products, and has a purpose-led story that resonates with today's consumers and the media alike. At Orange, we specialise in food and drink PR, working with challenger drinks brands, start-ups and household names across the sector. As a sustainable drinks brand with genuine purpose, Flawsome! is a natural fit for our approach: we know how to translate a brand's mission into meaningful, earned coverage, and its combination of sustainability, taste and personality gives us so much to work with. From consumer PR and national media relations to digital PR that supports search visibility, our focus is on building awareness that lasts. Leading Media Relations for an Exciting Summer Campaign Our first focus is managing the media relations for an exciting summer campaign, and while we're keeping the full details under wraps for now, it's shaping up to be a real highlight of the season. Summer is a key moment for the non-alcoholic drinks category, with more consumers than ever seeking out no- and low-alcohol options that don't compromise on flavour or experience, and it's the perfect time to build standout awareness for the brand. Through strategic, national media relations, we'll be working to secure national media coverage that gets Flawsome! in front of the right audiences at exactly the right time. We'll be sharing more as the campaign comes to life. Bringing Back Proper PR for Purpose-Led Brands Brands like Flawsome! are a perfect example of why we do what we do. When a business has a genuine purpose, a distinctive personality and a product people love, the opportunity for creative, story-led PR is huge. Our job is to find fresh, relevant and culturally resonant ways to share that story, securing the kind of coverage that builds credibility, awareness and long-term growth. That's what bringing back proper PR is all about: thoughtful storytelling, strong media relationships and campaigns that help brands stand out for the right reasons. Looking Ahead It's a real privilege to be working with the Flawsome! team and supporting such a brilliant, purpose-driven brand at such an exciting time. As we roll out activity over the coming weeks, we look forward to sharing more of what we've been working on. If you're a food or drink brand looking for support from a specialist food and drink PR agency, whether that's consumer PR, national media relations, digital PR or a standout campaign, get in touch with the Orange PR team to discuss how we can help.

In June, we celebrated a major national client win, standout national media coverage and a large-scale influencer campaign for two of Britain's most iconic food brands. As a PR agency based in Colchester, Essex, we continued supporting brands across the UK through strategic consumer PR, trade PR, digital PR, influencer marketing and social media management, helping clients build visibility with both consumers and industry audiences. As a specialist food and drink PR agency, June was a particularly exciting month, and one that reflected the continued growth of the agency within the food, drink and lifestyle sectors. Here's a look at some of our highlights from June. Appointed as Tiptree's National PR Agency One of our proudest moments this month was being appointed as the national PR agency for Tiptree, one of Britain's most iconic food brands. Following a competitive pitch process, Orange will support Tiptree with strategic national PR activity spanning consumer, food, farming and lifestyle media, helping to strengthen awareness of the brand, its products and its rich heritage. For us, this is particularly exciting because Tiptree is a brand that needs little introduction and one that has become synonymous with quality British preserves, with its jams and marmalades enjoyed by generations of consumers both in the UK and around the world. Today the brand continues to evolve, with a growing range that includes sauces, sweet spreads and nut butters, while remaining firmly rooted in the values and quality that have defined it. The appointment marks another significant milestone for Orange as we continue to build our reputation as a leading food and drink PR agency, working with heritage brands, challenger brands and start-ups across the UK. It's the kind of work we love most: brands with genuine heritage, loyal audiences and strong stories waiting to be told. We're looking forward to helping bring Tiptree's story to life through creative campaigns, strategic media relations and culturally relevant national storytelling. National Cream Tea Day: National Coverage and a Five-Million-Strong Influencer Campaign June also saw the delivery of our National Cream Tea Day campaign, working with two iconic British brands, Tiptree and Rodda's , to mark the day on 26 June. To celebrate one of Britain's best-loved food traditions, the brands commissioned new research revealing the nation's biggest cream tea crimes, from swapping jam for chocolate spread to matcha-inspired twists on the classic scone. The campaign was a fantastic example of how strong consumer insight, combined with two much-loved heritage brands, can drive meaningful national coverage. Coverage highlights included The Sun and the i, alongside radio coverage across a number of localised BBC stations, helping take the story to audiences right across the country. Alongside earned media, we also delivered an influencer marketing campaign to bring the National Cream Tea Day insight to life, working with creators who shared the research with their audiences. In total, the campaign reached a combined creator audience of almost five million followers (4,948,600), demonstrating the power of pairing traditional media relations with influencer marketing to maximise reach and engagement around a national moment. Celebrating 20 Years of Mauldons' Silver Adder June also saw us continue our work with Suffolk brewer Mauldons Brewery on the launch of its limited-edition cans, marking 20 years of its best-selling Silver Adder ale. As part of the campaign, we delivered a targeted consumer and trade PR push around the milestone, securing more coverage including Beer Today, alongside sending samples to national lifestyle and food titles to drive further awareness of the release. To take the campaign beyond earned media, we're also working with influencers to bring the anniversary to life and introduce Silver Adder to new audiences. Combining traditional media relations with influencer marketing in this way is a great example of how we help heritage brands celebrate landmark moments while reaching both loyal fans and new consumers, and we're looking forward to seeing the campaign build over the summer. Content Creation Day with Roomes Furniture & Interiors June also saw another successful filming and content creation day with interiors brand Roomes Furniture & Interiors , as we captured a fresh batch of content ahead of a key trading period for the brand. With the summer sale on the horizon, the shoot was all about getting Roomes ready for a peak season, creating engaging, platform-first content to support the brand across its social media channels during one of its busiest times of the year. As part of our ongoing social media management and content creation support, filming days like this allow us to build a strong bank of trend-led content that keeps the brand consistent, visible and commercially relevant. Following record-breaking results on the brand's channels in recent months, we're looking forward to seeing this latest content drive awareness and engagement throughout the summer sale. Celebrating a Year of Fairfields Farm's Air Ambulances UK Partnership June was also a month for looking back on the impact of a fantastic charity partnership. We met with Fairfields Farm and Air Ambulances UK to discuss the success of the first year of the partnership, and to start planning activity for another year of working together. It's been a hugely rewarding partnership to support, with Fairfields Farm surpassing its £10,000 fundraising goal for Air Ambulances UK, raising more than £12,400 across the first year. Cause-led partnerships like this are a brilliant example of how brands can build genuine connections with their audiences while supporting incredible causes, and they remain an important part of a well-rounded PR strategy. With plans already taking shape for year two, we're excited to keep the momentum going. Continued Momentum Across the Portfolio Beyond these headline moments, June was another busy month across our growing portfolio of food and drink, lifestyle and interiors clients. For resin driveway specialist Oltco , we secured franchise and national coverage, including a feature in Franchise Industry News on the reopening of franchise opportunities, alongside expert commentary opportunities positioning the brand within national interiors and lifestyle media. Following a string of exciting new client wins, Orange has been appointed as the PR and marketing agency for Tiptree Patisserie , the artisan bakery and patisserie based in Witham, Essex, and proudly part of the Wilkin & Sons family. As part of the partnership, Orange will support Tiptree Patisserie across trade and national media outreach, social media strategy and content creation, helping to raise the profile of its handmade cakes, traybakes, muffins, scones and patisserie among hospitality buyers and consumers alike. It's a brief that plays directly to our strengths as a specialist food and drink PR agency, and one we're thrilled to be getting stuck into. A Natural Fit for Our Food & Drink Experience At Orange, food and drink is at the heart of what we do. From heritage brands to challengers and start-ups, we work with producers across the sector to secure meaningful coverage, build brand awareness and tell stories that resonate with both trade and consumer audiences. Tiptree Patisserie is a wonderful addition to that portfolio: a quality-led, craft bakery supplying independent coffee shops, tea rooms and cafés with beautifully made products. That combination of provenance, craftsmanship and quality is exactly the kind of story we love to tell. As a food and drink PR agency, we understand the trade press, the hospitality landscape and the national food media, and we know how to position an artisan bakery so that it stands out with the buyers and audiences that matter most. Proudly Essex, Proudly Local This appointment is a particularly special one for us because it's so close to home. Orange is an Essex-based PR agency, and Tiptree Patisserie is right on our doorstep in Witham. Supporting brilliant local producers within our own county is something we care deeply about, and there's a real advantage in that proximity, from being on hand for content creation days to genuinely understanding the region, its heritage and its audiences. Working with a like-minded Essex business, we're excited to champion a local name on both a regional and national stage. Part of the Wilkin & Sons Family Tiptree Patisserie is part of the Wilkin & Sons family, renowned the world over for its iconic Tiptree jams and preserves. That heritage runs through everything the patisserie does, from its commitment to quality ingredients to the craftsmanship behind every bake. It's a pedigree few bakeries can claim, and one of the brand's strongest points of difference in a competitive market. Supporting the Launch of the New Trade Website The appointment also comes at an exciting time for the brand, which has just launched a brand-new trade website. The new site makes it easier than ever for cafés, coffee shops and hospitality businesses to discover and order the full range of Tiptree Patisserie products. Alongside our media and social activity, we'll be helping to build awareness of the new platform and drive it in front of the trade audiences it's designed for. What the Partnership Involves Our work with Tiptree Patisserie brings together trade and national media relations, a refreshed social media strategy and ongoing content creation, all designed to build visibility, credibility and long-term growth. From securing trade coverage among hospitality and food-service audiences to creating engaging, platform-first content across the brand's social channels, our focus is on delivering joined-up activity that supports the brand both commercially and creatively. Looking Ahead We couldn't be more excited to be working with such a special local business, and to be deepening our relationship with the wider Wilkin & Sons family. May was another exciting month at Orange PR, with new client appointments, strong social media results and the launch of several campaigns that will continue building momentum throughout the summer. As a PR agency based in Colchester, Essex, we continued supporting brands across the UK through strategic consumer PR, trade PR and social media management, helping clients build visibility with both consumers and industry audiences. As a specialist food and drink PR agency, May was particularly exciting, with several new client wins, product launches and campaigns reinforcing our growing presence within the sector. Here's a look at some of our highlights from May. Appointed to Launch Mauldons Brewery's Limited-Edition Anniversary Can One of our standout moments this month was being appointed by Mauldons Brewery to manage the PR launch of its limited-edition cans celebrating 20 years of its award-winning Silver Adder beer. The campaign marks an important milestone for the brewery and provides a fantastic opportunity to celebrate one of its most recognised products. Following the launch announcement, we've already secured both trade and local media coverage, helping to raise awareness among beer enthusiasts, retailers and industry audiences alike. Working with brands that have genuine heritage and stories to tell is something we particularly enjoy, and we're excited to continue supporting Mauldons Brewery as the campaign develops. Record-Breaking TikTok Results for Roomes Furniture & Interiors May delivered our strongest month yet on TikTok for interiors brand, Roomes Furniture & Interiors. As part of our ongoing social media management and content creation support, post views increased by an impressive 145%, followers grew by 32%, audience reach increased by 138% and total shares rose by 200%. These results highlight the value of consistent, platform-first content and demonstrate how effective social media can be for building brand awareness and engagement. With further content already planned, we're looking forward to building on this momentum over the coming months. Fairfields Farm Launches New Summer Flavour May also saw the trade launch of Fairfields Farm' s new limited-edition summer flavour, Cajun Barbecue. We supported the launch through targeted trade PR activity, securing coverage across a range of food and drink industry publications ahead of the product reaching shelves in June. Generating awareness among buyers, retailers and industry audiences before a consumer launch is an important part of effective food and drink PR, helping brands build momentum before products arrive in-store. Alongside the launch activity, we also held an exciting strategy session with the Fairfields Farm team following several new appointments within the business. With a number of exciting ideas already in development, we're looking forward to supporting the brand with creative campaigns, product launches and PR activity throughout the remainder of 2026 and into 2027. Mission Mud Launches for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance May also saw the launch of Mission Mud for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance , with Orange leading local media outreach ahead of the event. Alongside securing regional awareness, we've also been working on partnerships with local influencers to help generate excitement before the event and capture content on the day itself. By combining traditional media relations with influencer marketing, we're helping the charity reach new audiences and drive participation in what promises to be a fantastic fundraising event. We're looking forward to seeing the campaign continue to build momentum in the lead-up to the event. Three New Food & Drink Clients Join Orange May was also a particularly strong month for new business, with Orange appointed by three new food and drink brands. While we can't reveal the details just yet, we're excited to share more about these partnerships in June. The appointments further strengthen our position as a specialist food and drink PR agency and reflect the growing demand for strategic PR and social media support within the sector. Watch this space for some exciting announcements coming soon. Food & Drink Innovation Conference Our Account Director, Lucy, attended the Food & Drink Innovation Conference during May, representing Orange and connecting with brands, suppliers and industry leaders from across the sector. Alongside some excellent networking opportunities, the event provided valuable insight into emerging trends, innovation and the future of the food and drink industry. From changing consumer behaviours and retail trends to product innovation and sustainability, the conference offered plenty of inspiration and practical takeaways. As specialists in food and drink PR, it's important that we stay close to the conversations shaping the industry. We'll be sharing some of our key insights and observations across our website and social media channels over the coming weeks. Looking Ahead to Summer May was a month of strong foundations, exciting new partnerships and campaigns beginning to gather momentum. With new client launches, summer product launches, influencer campaigns, media opportunities and events all on the horizon, we're looking forward to a busy and exciting summer. As always, our focus remains on bringing back proper PR through thoughtful storytelling, strong media relationships and creative campaigns that help brands stand out for the right reasons. We can't wait to share more of what we've been working on over the coming months.

We’re delighted to announce that Orange PR & Marketing has been appointed as the national PR agency for Tiptree , one of Britain’s most iconic food brands. Following a competitive pitch process, Orange will support Tiptree with strategic national PR activity spanning consumer, food, farming and lifestyle media, helping to further strengthen awareness of the brand, its products and its rich heritage. For us, this is particularly exciting because Tiptree is a brand that needs little introduction. Founded in 1885, Tiptree has become synonymous with quality British preserves, with its jams and marmalades enjoyed by generations of consumers both in the UK and around the world. Today, the brand continues to evolve, with a growing range that includes tomato ketchup, sweet spreads and nut butters, while remaining firmly rooted in the values and quality that have defined it. Another Milestone for Orange's Food & Drink PR Team The appointment marks another significant milestone for Orange as we continue to grow our reputation as a leading food and drink PR agency. Based in Colchester, Essex, we work with food and drink brands across the UK, helping them secure meaningful media coverage, build brand awareness and tell stories that resonate with both consumers and industry audiences. Our portfolio spans challenger brands, start-ups and household names, including Europe’s largest matcha brand PerfectTed , luxury chocolate brand Cocoba , health and wellness brands such as Heylo and Betta , and Fairfields Farm , which recently reappointed Orange for a third consecutive year. Whether we're supporting a product launch, building founder profiles, securing product placement opportunities, managing a press office or developing long-term brand storytelling campaigns, our focus remains the same: bringing back proper PR. Why Heritage Brands Matter One of the reasons we were particularly excited about this opportunity is Tiptree’s heritage. At Orange, we believe some of the strongest PR campaigns are built on authentic stories. Brands with genuine heritage, loyal customers and a clear sense of purpose often have a wealth of stories waiting to be told. The challenge isn't creating a narrative; it's finding fresh, relevant and culturally resonant ways to share it with modern audiences. Tiptree already occupies a special place within British food culture, and we're looking forward to helping bring its story to life through creative campaigns, strategic media relations and national storytelling opportunities. Looking Ahead We're excited to be working alongside the Tiptree team and supporting the next chapter of the brand's journey. The appointment further strengthens Orange's position within the food and drink PR sector and reflects our continued growth working with brands across food, drink, lifestyle and consumer markets. Watch this space for more updates as we begin rolling out activity for one of Britain's best-loved food brands.
